Happy Friday!!!

New beginnings are always exciting.  When there’s a mixture of fear and excitement, you know that you’re onto something.  Whether you’re starting a new job, moving to a new city, making new friends or starting a new fitness program change is sometimes scary.  Know that in order for you to grow, you need to be uncomfortable.  Walking by faith is an awesome opportunity to live out your dream.  If you think too much, you’ll talk yourself out of whatever it is you want to do.  Excuses will get you nowhere.  Action will get you closer to your goals.  For our July challenge group, we will be focusing on goal setting and getting radical about accomplishing our goals.  We will hold you accountable and give you a step by step plan.  Join us TODAY!  Registration closes on Saturday at midnight!!!

Stay in the moment today.  Be present.  Focus on what is in front of you and do not worry about tomorrow. This is something I constantly have to practice.  Doing Yoga has helped me so much.  Just breathe and enjoy.  Let whatever you do today be enough….

Day 27 of 30 Day Challenge!!

We are almost done with this challenge and I just wanted to tell you guys how proud I am to be in this journey with you guys.  You guys have grown so much in your awareness and conviction about eating better and keeping active.  Remember this is a marathon and not a sprint.  You will have great days and not so perfect days and it’s totally OK!!!  You guys have supported each other and encouraged each other.  Thank you for inspiring me and letting me be a witness to your journey.  I am so grateful for each and every single one of you!!!

Sometimes we don’t go after our goals or dreams because we are afraid of failing.  We don’t even try sometimes because we don’t want to be uncomfortable. If you knew you couldn’t fail, what would your life look like?  Step out on faith and make some decisions.  All you need is one step towards your goal everyday.  For our next challenge in July, we will be spending some time working through goal setting and having lots of accountability on meeting those goals.  I’m so excited!!!!  So, live your life with no regrets and work towards accomplishing your goals and dreams.  You might even surprise yourself and find yourself living your best life now!!!

Day 26 of 30 Day Challenge!!

Sorry I didn’t check in with you guys the last few days.  It’s been crazy busy and I just couldn’t make it happen.  Anyway, it’s already Tuesday and we’re ready to start the week off right!  Let’s start fresh and make no excuses!!!  Just do it!!!!


1) Cardio Day!!!  My choice today is Zumba!!!  It’s fun and an awesome workout.  Whatever you decide, find something you totally love!  Find your passion.  You never know, you may fall in love with boxing, running, biking, swimming, hiking, etc…keep trying new activities and see which one sticks:)))  Try this one if you’re stuck…

Hello, I hope you guys are doing well.  Please let us know how you’re doing and if there’s anything we can do for you.  Sometimes we just need that little extra push or encouragement.  Sometimes, we need to be reminded why we’re doing this.  Sometimes, we need to get a swift kick in the butt too:)  Whatever you need today, make sure you reach out and get it.  If you want something bad enough you have to be willing to put yourself out there and be vulnerable.  It’s OK to ask for what you want and what you need.

1) Yoga Day- Practice some time to stretch, meditate, breath, and focus.  Enjoy yoga with friends:)))


2) Make the investment in your health and wellness NOW!  Don’t wait until your body starts falling apart.  Do it NOW!  Do it while you’re still young so you can enjoy the benefits of clean eating and working out.

Day 20 of 30 Day Challenge!!

Day 20!

Happy hump day y’all!  Why is time flying at lightning speed???  I can’t keep up!
How’s it going?  Clean eating and exercising should be a habit by now.  Your body should be craving healthy food and rejecting junk.  You should feel like you want to work out instead of dragging yourself to your work outs.  It doesn’t take very long for your body to acclimate to healthy living.  This is how we were designed so your body will actually respond better when you are treating it well.  On the flip side, it doesn’t take long to go to the dark side.  Just a few cheats and you will be back to square one.  It’s not worth it.  Don’t do it!!!  Wherever you are today, start today to treat yourself well.

Day 19 of 30 Day Challenge!!

Day 19!

Hello Friends,

We only have ten days left!!!  WOW!!!  That went fast!  Let’s really kick it into high gear for the last hurrah!  This is a lifestyle change so really look at the progress this past month or two and be grateful that you are moving forward.  No matter where you are today, know that you have the ability to make the right choice right now:)))


1) Tuesday- Cardio Workout!  Find your passion, hobby, favorite workout!  I love workouts that don’t feel like a workout. For me, that’s DANCE!!! I can dance for hours and sweat buckets and it doesn’t feel like a workout.  Do something you enjoy and if you haven’t found your favorite activity yet, keep looking!  You’ll find it:)))


2) Summer Sweets:)))
Grilled Pineapple- just add cinnamon….WOW!!!  AMAZING:)))  Warning!  Very addictive!


3) Mantra for the Day- Live each day like it’s your last!

I am reminded today to never take my life for granted. Our friends lost their baby daughter during heart surgery today.  She was only two months old.  It’s so sad.  It’s a great reminder that our journey to wellness is so much more than just to look good.  This lifestyle change is to change everything.  Our priorities, our schedule, our relationships, and our environment.  Do take a moment to take an inventory of what’s important in your life.  You are a beautiful being designed to do amazing things.  Now, go do it!!! :))))

Day 18 of 30 Day Challenge!!

Day 18!

Happy Monday!  I hope you guys enjoyed your weekend and were able to celebrate all the Dads out there!  This week we are going to kick it in gear and kick it up a few notches.  Add ten to fifteen minutes to each workout.  Add a cardio day and eat as clean as possible.  You can do it!!!

1) Lower Body Day!  -Start off with a stretch and get your heart rate up.  Today let’s work the legs to fatigue.  Make sure you stretch after your workout and drink lots of water!

Do as many lunges as you can!  Target those glutes:))))  XOXO!!!


2)  No Junk Food Challenge!!!  For the rest of the challenge, get rid of all of these items from your diet:))))  You can do it!!!

Day 15 of 30 Day Challenge!!

Day 15!

Well, it’s our mid point check in today!  How’s your progress?  Remember that progress is measured in many different ways.  I feel strong, my pants are loose, I see more definition, I am not reliant on caffeine or sugar for my energy, I have way more endurance, I am eating more often, I drink more water, my arms are more toned, I lost 5% body fat, and I am feeling balanced in my relationships.  I’m more in love with my husband, my kids are doing great and I am enjoying my work.  I don’t feel burned out, I feel hopeful, inspired and ready to accomplish more goals.  The story doesn’t end with strong abs and the number on the scale.  In my lowest weight and ‘skinniest’ time, I was the most miserable. I was never skinny enough and I was so unhealthy!!!  I was grumpy all the time because I was STARVING!!! LOL!  I was not fun to be around and was super insecure and ungrateful.  Guys, this is a lifestyle change.  Even if you have a few more pounds to lose but have a healthy self image and a happy, balanced life then YOU ARE DOING AWESOME!!!  Don’t get caught up on the wrong things and be results oriented.  This is a marathon, not a sprint:)))  I believe in you.  You CAN do this:))))

Day 14 of 30 Day Challenge!!!

I hope you are doing well and staying in the program.  Please let me know if you need help or need support.  I’m so encouraged by all the great news and victories.  I am so honored and humbled to be a part of this journey with you.  Thank you for being so open and vulnerable and letting me be a part of it.


1) Yoga Day! -Try out some new yoga moves today.  Try to hold the pose a little longer.  Engage your whole body and be mindful.  Train your mind to be present.  When your mind starts to wander and you start checking your mental to do list, bring it back in with the breath and keep breathing.  Even if yoga is not your thing, try it for at least fifteen minutes and add a little more each time.  Yoga helps with your strength and flexibility as well as your mental discipline.  Enjoy:)



2) Yummy Recipe of the Day!!! -White House Salad for “The Biggest Loser”

head of fresh lettuce
1/3 cup olive oil (for dressing)
1 cucumber
4 tbsp lemon juice (for dressing)
2 fresh in-season tomatoes
1 tsp honey (for dressing)
1/4 red onion salt and pepper
1 bunch fresh basil

This is a great dish to bring to a party or summer gathering:)))  Enjoy!!!
