Day 19 of Spring Clean Challenge Part II

Day 19!

Hello Friends!
I hope you enjoy this fabulous weekend with your loved ones.  I hope you’re doing well and feeling good.  Stay connected and engaged. Don’t miss the moments.  Whether you’re feeling great or not, it’s a blessing to be able to feel.  When we start dealing with what’s really going on and not turning to food for our comfort and satisfaction then that is the beginning of true transformation!

 

 

1) Saturday! -Enjoy the outdoors if you can.  Take advantage of nature that is all around us!  Go for a hike, a bike ride, a run on the beach, whatever it is, do it with joy!

 

2) Food- Date Night!
I don’t know about you but I get in a lot of trouble when I eat out and smell the aroma of all the amazing food at the restaurant!  It’s hard to have self control when you are surrounded by amazing food!!!  Here’s an idea, make a romantic dinner at home with
nutritious, healthy, ingredients.  You will really be able to enjoy dinner guilt free and save money too!!!

3) Mantra of the Day!!!  NO SHORTCUTS!!!
I know it’s tempting to take the shortcut.  There are many options to get nipped and tucked, lifted and lipo’d!  You can get diced and sliced and zapped and lazered!  If you’re really overweight, you can get your stomach stapled and get a band to shrink your tummy.
Look, if you have had any of the aforementioned procedures, I ain’t mad at ya!  All I’m saying is that it covers up a much larger issue of the heart.  Our weight problems are just a by-product of something going on much deeper within.  So, instead of wishing and saving
for the newest procedure, you can start dealing with WHY you are having issues with self control and lacking the motivation to start getting healthy. I get it.  I’ve been pretty active my whole life and have had moments of letting myself go and not caring.  It wasn’t until my body started to fall apart that I really started to take it seriously. So, don’t wait until  your body starts betraying you.  Start NOW! Get healthy and active so that you won’t have to suffer in the future.
