1. Today is REST day! You deserve it. Let your body rest and replenish. Enjoy!
2. Stay on your eating plan and keep it up. Get a good night’s sleep. Studies show that getting at least eight hours a night is essential to weight loss. Be disciplined and get to bed at a decent hour. Today you will get a new menu for the week. (posted on the exclusive group page) Take time to prep your food for the week. Planning is key for victory!!!
3. Mantra for the day: Be still…..
Take a shavasana pose. Corpse pose. Lay down with eyes closed and palms facing the sky. Take a moment for yourself. Stay engaged and be present. Breathe. When you find your mind wondering, continue to focus on your breathing. This is the time where you thank yourself for being on this journey. Thank your body for being strong and willing. Showing up is the hardest part. Focus on gratitude for all the things that you have. Remember, what you focus on, you get more of. If you focus on problems, you get more problems. Lay here for about five minutes. The world will not stop I promise. This is a hard exercise and you have to discipline your mind to be still.
Now, after you have laid there for a few minutes, we are going to take our fetal position pose. Go to the right or to the left and curl up into a little ball. We are going from death to life. This pose signifies a rebirth, a new beginning. Every breath we take is a new breath. Focus your intention on forgetting what is behind and straining towards what is ahead.
