Day 23

How’s it going?  Everyday is a new opportunity to change your life.  Don’t take this day for granted.  What you plant you will reap the benefits of.  It’s only four months until summer!!!  What are you planting today that you will reap in four months!?  Don’t procrastinate, don’t dilly dally, know that today makes a difference!



1) Tuesday- Try ZUMBA!

Tuesday is normally our cardio day.  I’m not a fan of cardio but I LOVE Zumba!  Try it:)

2) Food- Paleo Post! What do you think?  Have you tried it?


3. Mantra for the Day-  Let it go….
Part of the process of letting go is to not concern yourself with people’s opinions of yourself.  I know we talk about this a lot.  We need the reminders.  I need the reminders.  I’m so proud of one of my clients who has learned to turn off the negative tapes that go off when she starts to feel low.  Those tapes come back quickly and loud too!  She has learned to change the tapes and learn to replace it with good, positive, loving voices.  You can do it too.  Just input more positive and reject the negative.  You don’t have to listen to the critics.  You have to be your own biggest fan instead of your biggest enemy:)

Happy Monday!!! I’m ready for this week!  I hope you are too.  Make sure you are intentional about your workout, eating, and stress management.  Take some time to plan so that your week will go smoothly:)))



1) Monday- Cross Fit Inspired Workouts!

I’m going to try these with my class today.  My goal is to make them cry!!!:)))) LOL!




2) Food- Plan and Prepare for Victory!
I’m going to try the Paleo diet for a couple of weeks.  I like switching things up and learning about other methods.  At the end of the day, it’s all about moderation and clean eating.  Try this with me:))))

3. Mantra for the Day-  Unplug!
Challenge yourself to really be present and engaged today.  Look at people and really ‘see’ them.  Smile:)  In this world with such advanced technology, we have become so distant.  Even in social media, we have the appearance of intimacy but in reality we are starving for connection.  We had some friends over today and we’re going to be hosting a mixer/party for our single friends to meet each other.  We are calling the party “Unplugged”!  Guests have to check their phones in at the door and they actually have to communicate with one another.  What a novel concept! LOL!  I have to admit, this is hard for me.  I live in the virtual world.  It’s a good reminder to experience life instead of posting about it.  How about you!?  Are you ready to unplug?  Challenge yourself to have time during the day to do just that.

I can’t believe a month has flown by!  Look at what you have accomplished in the last 30 days???  Remember that the habits you have developed have taken way longer than 30 days to create so be patient with yourself.  Embrace the progress you’ve made and remember that you have come such a long way.  And by the way, if you haven’t voted yet…GO VOTE:))))  XOXO!!!



1. Tuesday- Today is cardio day and strength training.  Try interval training, sprint training, tabata training, HIIT, cross fit, Zumba, Tae bo, etc….there are so many awesome forms of cardio.  Try a new one and sweat it out:))))



2.  Food- 10 Commandments of Weight loss!



3. Mantra for the day: Take Responsibility!

With today being an important day in this nation, let us not forget that the real change comes from taking personal responsibility.  Government, churches, establishments, schools, gyms, trainers, etc….will not make you change anything unless it comes from within.  You have the power to choose and at the end of the day, you live with your choices.  So, stop blaming, stop making excuses and start in your own backyard by taking inventory of your life and making the right choices.  Every right choice will get you closer to your goals.  No one is stopping you.  You can do it!!!!
