1) Friday- CORE day!
I love working on my core.  This is the weakest part of my body and I love challenging it to make it strong:)  One of the most effective workouts for the core are planks. There are many variations of plank exercises.  Just do it!!!

 

2) Food- Super food of the day- KALE!!!
I love kale salads, kale shakes, and baked kale chips.  Try it today:)))

 

3) Mantra for the Day- Be Consistent!!!
So, you started off the year with high hopes and a new, New Year’s resolution!  Well, here we are, 31 days in and you don’t look like a super model yet.  Well, sorry to burst your bubble but it won’t happen in 31 days.  It’s about being consistent, having self control, and being self disciplined.  I know, it’s easier said than done.  Keep doing the work unconditionally.  No matter what the outcome is, keep at it because it’s good for you.  Sooner or later, you will see changes.  Be consistent.  Do it even when you don’t want to.  You can do it!!!

Day 80 of 90 Day Challenge!

I hope you enjoyed your Christmas festivities or whatever it is you celebrate.  All I know is that I enjoyed all the food and I’m excited and ready to get back on the clean eating wagon and get my system back to normal.  Can you believe we only have ten days left on this challenge!?!?!  This time of year, it was great to have that little extra accountability and to get encouragement not to totally fall off the wagon!  I decided in January, we will have a full on detox and sugar detox for 21 days starting on January 7th, 2013.  For my existing clients, my gift to you this year is to allow you to take the challenge FREE of charge.  All new clients will get a 50% off discount.  For NEW CLIENTS ONLY you can join our January Detox Challenge group for ONLY $20.00.  We will only have a limited number of spots for newbies so please rsvp and sign up ASAP.  I’m really excited about starting the year with a bang!!!  The time is NOW!  Don’t delay.  It’s gonna be hard but so worth it!

 

1.) Wednesday -Upper Body Day!
I love getting fitness related gifts!  I got an exercise ball and a juicer!  I’m so excited!!!  I’m taking my fitness to a whole new level.  You should have seen me today trying new exercises on my ball and I totally fell off of it a few times.  It would have been a great, graceful, exercise video. LOL!  I will be incorporating these in my classes.  Great for core strengthening and just a great full body workout:)))

2.) Food- Juicing!
Since I got a new juicer today, I’m so excited to try new recipes.  Please send me your favorites either on the comment section or on our facebook page.  Here are some I’m anxious to try.  Keep checking in with us because I will be posting more juicing recipes:)

3.) Mantra of the Day!- Just because you can, doesn’t mean you should!

This is my mantra for 2013!!!  I’m starting now because this is going to be a tough one for me.  I like to DO a lot of things.  I need to settle down, breathe, and only do what is necessary.  I need to practice being more in the moment and not be so concerned about doing everything all at once.  I have to remind myself that it’s OK if it doesn’t ALL get done TODAY.  I put a lot of unnecessary pressure on myself and I need to chill:)  You guys need to help me OK!?  We’re in this together.

Day 50 of 90 Day Challenge!

Day 50

I’m still struggling with a severe allergic reaction that appeared on Friday morning.  I didn’t think anything of it but it hasn’t gotten better and I’m still not feeling 100%.  I’m frustrated because I am doing all the right things, eating well, juicing, exercising and I feel like this is a great challenge to surrender and trust.  I am bummed about not working out because I was really on a roll and getting so strong.  Then I remembered what I always tell you guys, “This is a marathon, not a sprint!”  So, I will wait patiently and get to working out when I’m able.  Thanks for the support:)))

 

1.  Monday- Just because I can’t work out doesn’t mean you can’t:) Stretch and do 30 min of solid cardio and lower body work. I expect you to push yourself hard today.  I want sweat & tears!!!  DO IT:))) Beast mode needs to be ON!!! :)

 

2.  Food- Super food of the day!!!  Kale!!!
I put kale in my smoothies every morning.  Kale is amazing with salads and pasta.  Try baking it in the oven and make kale chips.  Here’s some recipes…enjoy!  Don’t be scared, it’s really good!!!  Read here for the amazing benefits of kale…..Why kale is good for you!

 

 

3. Mantra for the day:  Surrender
This is my mantra today.  No matter where you’re at in life, this is always a great lesson.  Here I am totally helping people get fit and healthy and I have all these health issues!  I’m so frustrated.  I have to remember that I’m not in control of my own body.  Things will happen totally beyond my control and I have to learn how to surrender.  It’s not easy but it’s a great life lesson.  How are you doing with your surrender today?

Day 15 of Spring Clean Challenge!!!

Mama said there would be days like this…. “I don’t want to do this anymore.  This is too hard.  This takes too much effort.”  In those moments, I want you to look at your goals.  Remember the goals we wrote out in the beginning of the program?  I want you to ask yourself, “Are these goals still important to me?”  If the answer is “YES” then stop whining and complaining and keep going.:)))  Remember, in order to achieve our goals, we must work hard!!!

 

1.  Monday- Stretch and do 30 min of solid cardio and lower body work. There will be a few videos uploaded to our exclusive page.  I expect you to push yourself hard today.  I want sweat & tears!!!  DO IT:))) Beast mode needs to be ON!!! :) There will be beginner, intermediate and advanced exercises.  Stretch your body and breathe!

3. Mantra for the day:  Quitting is the Enemy to Success!!!
If you even ‘think’ about quitting, then you have already quit.  It’s so easy to quit.  It takes so much more character and a strong will to persevere.  Dig deep in your soul and remind yourself that you are worth fighting for.  It’s not too hard, too difficult, too painful, too (fill in the blank)…You are worth it and you deserve to live the life you were designed to have.  Be proactive about your health and wellness…It’s the only one you have:)))
