Day 14 of Spring Clean Challenge!

Day 14!

Happy Monday my friends!!!  I hope you had a victorious weekend and that you worked out and ate clean all weekend:)))  If you didn’t, don’t fret!  Today’s a NEW day:)))  Start fresh, hit restart, and let’s go!!!



1) Monday-Stretch, Cardio and Lower Body workout!  If you think too hard about working out, you’ll talk yourself out of it!  Just do it:)))




2. Food-Portion Control!  This is something we constantly have to keep reminding ourselves.  The portions just keep getting bigger! If you’re not reading labels, you should be.  Be aware.  It’s your body, it’s your responsibility!  Yesterday, we went out to dinner.  I automatically asked for a to-go container and wrapped up half of my plate.  I had more than enough for dinner and enjoyed the other half for lunch!  Check out this great chart….


3. Mantra for the Day!!! -Visualize your Life!!!
Are you using the power of visualization in your life?  In your time of quiet and peace take some time to visualize how you want your life to look.  Take some time to envision what it would be like to run after your kids at the park without being in pain or being winded.  How would it feel to be able to shop at certain stores and wear certain clothes?  If you can see it, you can achieve it.  Keep pictures up in a special place that will motivate you.  If you haven’t discovered Pinterest yet, it’s a great site where you can create your own boards. (Follow me on Pinterest:))  Keep a pair of jeans or a dress that you want to fit into out where you can see it daily.  Strive everyday to move towards your goal.
Everyday spend some time imagining and dreaming about the life you want to have.  Then do one thing that will move you closer to that goal. When you are engaging in an activity or ready to eat a bite of something, ask yourself, “Is this going to get me closer to my goals?”  If the answer is “NO!”  Then get rid of it or stop doing it.

Day 22 of January Detox Challenge Group!

I’m getting ready to open up the February Challenge group beginning February 4th! It’s going to be a “Sweetheart Challenge”!!! I’m excited to host a challenge group to help us be better wives in the month of February. We will be focusing on fitness and marriage. We’ve heard this before.  It’s so true.  What we focus on, we get more of.  What are you thinking about?  Do you think about how hard it is to lose weight, change your habits, avoid temptation, etc…????  Or do you focus on the lifestyle change of not being overweight, being able to enjoy healthy food, getting off medication and being able to keep up with your children, fitting in to your favorite jeans!?!?!  Change your thoughts, change your focus, and change your life!!!:))))

Day 15 & 16 of January Detox Challenge!

Hope you had a great weekend!  I celebrated my bday over the weekend and had loads of fun with family and food:)  I need to get back on track.  Remember, every day is a new day and a new beginning:)))

1) Food-  I started blending my drinks.  Juicing was getting way too expensive!  I’m going to do both.  It’s going really well.  I’m addicted:)))



2)  Workout- Work your lower body.  Legs, booty, and abs!  Go for an all around strength training routine too.  Try these:)





3) Mantra for the Day: Enjoy the Little Things!
Don’t forget to stop and enjoy the little things.  I’ve had the incredible opportunity to have family over the last few days.  I was off my normal routine, schedule, workouts, and eating habits.  Guess what!?!?!  I survived:))))  In the past, I would have been more concerned about staying on task than enjoying my family.  We’re in this thing for a lifetime.  I realized that I would never get this time back so enjoy it!  I hope you’re doing the same.

Day 21 of Spring Clean Challenge Part II

Day 21!

Happy Monday!  I hope you had a fabulous weekend and you’re ready to take Monday by the horns!  Nothing like starting out your week with a great workout.  Don’t think about it, just do it!!!



1) Monday- Lower body workout.  We’re going to work on our legs and booty today!  No pain, no gain.  If it doesn’t challenge you, It won’t change you!  Pain is weakness leaving the body!  Sweat is fat crying!  Just do it!!!

3) Mantra for the Day- Having character is more important than being comfortable!  I know it’s hard.  If it wasn’t hard, everyone would be fit and healthy.  That is not the case.  We have about a 60% obesity rate in the United States and that number is growing.  We are a nation addicted to comfort.  We want what we want and we want it NOW!  Have you noticed how hard it is to say “NO”!?!?!  We MUST practice it and the more we do it, the stronger we will get.  Getting healthy is going to be uncomfortable.  When you are surrounded by junk food, fast food, parties, gatherings, etc….it’s hard!  To build our character we must persevere and be willing to be uncomfortable.  How willing are you???  Don’t be a weak character.  Get strong and get fit!  You are worth it!!!
