Hello weekend!  I hope you had a fantastic week and ready to have a great weekend.  I had a great week and I’m looking forward to a great marrieds event our church is hosting on Saturday night as well as seeing my son play in his band on Sunday!  Life is busy but exciting.  I hope you’re all doing well:)))

 

 

1) Saturday- Activity Day!!!  Today I’m going to dance!!!  What are you doing!?!?

 

Sunday- Take your rest day.  Super important to let the body heal and recover:)

3.  Mantra for the Day: You are Enough!
As an overachiever, workaholic, type A personality, OCD type person, it can be tempting to think that you need to be doing more.  “If only” becomes the constant mantra in your head…”if only” I was skinnier, healthier, faster, richer, prettier, a better wife, mother, employee, employer, etc…..At the end of the day, what is the ROOT!?  Why do we aspire to all these things!?  What are we trying to gain!?  There’s such a vacuum and an insatiable appetite for approval.  What exactly are we trying to prove!?  Who are we seeking approval from!?  Take a deep cleansing breath and know that you are already approved!!!  You are already accepted!!!  It doesn’t matter what others think of you.  It only matters what God thinks of you.  Honestly, if we don’t surrender to that, we will be constantly looking for approval in so many places and we will keep coming up empty handed.  You are more than enough.  I believe in you and I’m grateful to be in this journey with you.  Just take it one day at a time:)))

Day 36 of 90 Day Challenge!

Day 36

Happy Monday!

 

1. Monday- Cardio and leg & booty day!!!  Work to your max today.  No letting up.  JUST DO IT!!!

 

 

2. Food- Keep eating clean!!!  I think something was in the air this weekend because a few of us, myself included, fell off the wagon and gave in to eating sweet treats. Anyway, no excuses!  Today is a new day and a new opportunity to make the right choices.  Here’s some great tips on what to do after having a binge…

 

 

 

3.  Mantra for the day:  You are enough!

I love this.  You need to be reminded that YOU ARE ENOUGH!!!  Gaining or losing weight does not define you.  You have to accept who you are and love who you are no matter what.  Losing the extra weight may make you feel better, more confident, lighter, healthier, and stronger  but,  just because you may not be there yet doesn’t mean that you are bad, fat, ugly, or whatever lies you tell yourself.  You are amazing now and you will be amazing when you lose the extra weight.  Let’s not get it twisted and think something magical will happen when you see your goal weight on the scale.  You will still be the same person.  Learn to love yourself regardless what the scale says.  The weight loss is just a bonus for transforming your life.  Be content and at peace with who you are because you are brave, beautiful, heroic, and a fantastic human being!!!

Happy hump day:)  Is it just me or is time flying at lightning speed these days!?  I was looking at my calendar and it’s already booked up til’ September!  Before you know it, it will be Christmas!!!  OK, OK, I’m going to try to be in the moment and really enjoy each day.  I hope you will too:)))

3) Mantra of the Day- You are enough!!!
It’s always good to be reminded that we don’t have to be perfect.  You are enough just the way you are!  In this journey of health and fitness, we have to be careful not to obsess and try to reach perfection. Newsflash!!! Perfection NEVER comes!!!  This is not to discourage you but to help give you a perspective that you will never attain the perfect state of being.  I am always surprised to read about a perfect looking celebrity or model say that they hate certain parts of their body.  Even Giselle isn’t fully satisfied!!!  It’s OK to not be perfect.  The goal here is to be healthy and have a healthy body image.  I am in such a happy place in my life.  I am getting real results from good ole’ fashion diet and exercise.  There are no shortcuts and no gimmicks.  Learn to love yourself and enjoy the journey.  You are wonderfully and fearfully made.  You are a beautiful creation and you are enough:)))
