Judy Thureson is a Lifestyle Coach, Re-Invention Specialist, Fitness Trainer, and most importantly, a wife and mother. Judy Thureson has always had passion for health and fitness. She was a professional dancer and dance instructor dancing in movies, commercials, music videos and television. She started dancing at the age of five in the Philippines with her sisters. They continued to dance together and even won Star Search with four stars!!! She has worked internationally with world-renowned dancers and choreographers. After raising a family of three children and turning forty, she decided to re-invent herself. Taking away all the excuses she has formulated a workout program that helps women just like herself to have a fun, exciting, challenging workout while empowering them to live life to the full! Judy specializes in helping women balance mind, body, and spirit. It’s not enough to just focus on a hard body and six pack abs, it’s important to learn how to accept ourselves, have healthy relationships, excel in our spiritual lives and be fully present.
Living in Los Angeles, Judy was overwhelmed by all the different gyms, classes, and workouts available. She spent a lot of time figuring out which classes were the absolute best, funnest and most effective and has incorporated them all in her bootcamp classes. That is why when you come to class, you never know what you’re gonna get! The workouts are fresh and fun and prevents your body from going on a plateau because the minute you get used to something, she changes it up again! One of the greatest training she has received has been from her sister Marty Wilcher who is the creator and innovator of BarYoga. Also, she is excited to add TRX trainer to her list of certifications. Judy’s most recent obsession is ZUMBA! She was certified and is teaching classes all over town. Meet Vanessa Hill!!!
I adore Vanessa and hand picked her to be in our program because she is an amazing person with a heart of gold. She truly cares about people and their well being. I’ve nicknamed her the “quiet storm”! Don’t let the quiet, gentle demeanor fool you. She has one of the most challenging killer ab workouts around!!! Please help me formally welcome Vanessa Hill to the Bootcamp Barre family!
A California native, Vanessa’s passion for fitness began eighteen years ago as she dedicated herself to athletic fitness training and dance. She was first seasoned in Track and Field and Cross Country Running. Vanessa is experienced and thrives off of high interval techniques and body strengthening. Shortly after, she pursued a Bachelors degree in Performing Arts in Dance at California State University of Fullerton in 2002. She has had the opportunity to dance for Janet Jackson and many others. Some of her first loves are Hip Hop, Contemporary, Salsa, Cultural, and Improvisation. Re-invention and transformation are constant goals and she loves to help others find their expression and security in loving themselves. There lies within her deep convictions of “The Body” and how it works and what it is capable of. She embraces nutrition, wellness, and vitality and takes joy in providing inspiration for others in these areas. She is currently embarking on new styles of Yoga, Pilates, and Ballet Barre work. Along with Judy Thureson, she is excited to add TRX trainer to her certifications. Vanessa loves to serve others and is dedicated to help fit the needs according to ones lifestyle, goals, frustrations, and limitations. There is nothing more rewarding then when she sees the happy tears after a hard session knowing they appreciate themselves, and most importantly that somebody cares.
Jeanette C. Cassisi “JC” has been teaching and training for over 20 years. (She started when she was two) Jeanette’s most recent gig involved working for Equinox Fitness Club, West Hollywood, managing their Pilates studio and becoming a top-tier trainer who has worked with many actors, musicians and professional athletes. Jeanette’s certifications include Pilates, NASM, NSCA, E.F.T.I. and Kettlebell as well as having a B.A. in Dance and a background in Capoeira and Tae Kwon Do. Jeanette is currently teaching private clients and raising her 2 year old son.
We are launching her new program called “Kettle Rock N’ Core”…this will be a hard core workout and not your momma’s bootcamp class! Jeanette is a tiny, petite, powerhouse that will work you til’ we have to pick you up off the floor!!!
